Percussion – drums (also called percussion = tap) are probably the oldest and also the most extensive group of musical instruments with a great tradition. There are many varieties, as almost every country, region, or nation has numerous percussion instruments of its own. Sound is created by striking the instrument, shaking the instrument, or scratching the instrument.
